Home foreclosures and bankruptcies are on the rise, and many creditors find themselves faced with substantial losses on accounts payable. R & J Legal Group represents individuals, corporations, and lending institutions faced with loses resulting from defaulted loans and mortgages as well as accounts to be discharged in foreclosure proceedings.

Clients we represent in prosecuting foreclosures can expect efficient and timely turnaround. Within days of engagement, our office sends the mortgagor(s) a demand letter for payment, complying with the Fair Debt Practices Collection Act (FDCPA). We then provide an attorney-produced title abstract for the subject property. Shortly thereafter, we file a complaint and serve the mortgagor(s). Once service is perfected, we then file a dispositive motion, obtain judgment of foreclosure and sale, and schedule the Sheriff Sale. We will file the confirmation of sale as quickly as possible, and finalize the process by delivering a Sheriff's Deed or sale proceeds to our client. Where our client is the winning bidder at the sale, we can assist with evictions and represent our client during the REO closing.
